Vi stolt av å vise frem verket "Thomas Toy" designet av Richard Johansen. Årets julegave til glede for flere! Sammen med kunstneren ønsker vi å bidra til at rusavhengige og mennesker i gatemiljøet i Bergen for en bedre juletid, og derfor går 100 % av inntjening på Thomas Toy til Strax-huset i Bergen. Richard Johansen er en norsk kunstner, født i 1988 i Bergen, Norge. Han er utdannet innen reklame og kreativ kommunikasjon, men har valgt å følge sin lidenskap og begynte å male etter studiene. Hans arbeid er i kategorien noen kaller "the new pop art" - stencilart, inspirert av tidligere pop art samt moderne street art. Mats Mæland

We are proud to present our newst artist, Mats Mæland. Ublu by Mats Mæland Design is an independent award winning graphic design studio, based in Bergen. In July 2016 Mats received the D&AD New Blood Award. His motives are often based on surrealism with references into modernism, the mix of photography and illustrations make a interesting context. We have today made available 2 new prints from Richard Johansen in our webstore. Richard Johansen is a Norwegian artist, born in 1988 in Bergen, Norway. He is educated in advertising and creative communication, but choose to follow his passion and start painting directly after studying. His work is in the category some call “the new pop art” - stencil art, inspired by earlier pop art as well as modern street art. We talked to one of our favorite artist, Guesswho. The Indian artist's art has been compared to British Banksy's. Lately he has been in the crosshair of international media like BBC. Guesswho is known for art where western icons mixed with local Indian symbols. Guesswho wishes to remain anonymous because the focus should be on the art, not the artist.
